Registration

In order to promote a sense of association locally, regionally and globally with others who share an academic and /or professional interest in moral education, site users are encouraged to register their name, location and special interests. In doing so, the clear distinction is made between information in the public and private domains. Individual public contact details are published on the website, but private details are not. These latter are held securely by the site managers and used only for the purpose of direct contact in connection with site development.

Related subscription payment

There is one exception where a related annual paid subscription is required. However, this is not for use of the research portal itself. It is for receipt of access to the Journal of Moral Education where this has been paid for as part of the annual membership fee of the Association for Moral Education (AME). This information is obtained from AME. The log-in facility for the journal, using the member’s individually registered email address and password, is via www.moraleducation.info.

Portal Jurisdiction

The www.moraleducation.info database is stored on servers in the United Kingdom and maintained accordingly. It is designed for global usage, open to all. It is possible that there may be restrictions on access from within a particular nation, but these are not created by the managers of www.moraleducation.info and the JME trustees.

Reliability of portal content

All the contents of www.moraleducation.info are provided in good faith and every effort is made to check their reliability. That applies to all the original material which appears on the site as also to all the commended links. The original material is written by members of the designated site development team. Every commended link site has been selected by one or more members of that same team, following comparative inspection of their inherent and relevant qualities, rather than hit-count. The JME Trust is not formally responsible for every detail, but encourages all who share an interest in the usefulness of this portal research site to send in suggestions for correction and amplification via the Contact component: info@moraleducation.info. All communications will be actively acknowledged.

These will principally be on Bluesky Social with its strictures against misuse and abuse: https://bsky.social/about/support/community-guidelines, and for a trial period on Linkedin.

English language medium
